Quotes from AND ABOUT

THIS IS IT...

THIS IS REAL...

“I’m going to tell you some stories that I remember. They only contain a parcel of pain, but also glimmers of happiness, showing how little things make a big difference.”

THIS IS HARD...

“We received phone calls from people who’d heard (a “rumor”?) that Hailee had cancer. Was it true?

THIS IS GONNA BE OK...

“In truth, I was miserable, but I kept looking on the bright side because I approached cancer the way I approach anything in life: Failure is not an option.”

“AN INSPIRING AND HONEST READ WHICH, NOT SURPRISINGLY, PUTS LIFE IN PERSPECTIVE. I’LL HAVE TO TRY TO REMEMBER IT IF LIFE DEALS US LEMONS OR EVEN IF I AM HAVING A ‘BAD’ DAY.”

a few words about us

We are very fortunate.

It took time to do this. But we think that our efforts will make someone’s life just a little bit easier just when it is getting to be really hard.

This is meant to go beyond cancer. Cancer sucks and so do a lot of other diseases and illnesses as well as stuff that life throws at you.

this is why

you should READ

1.

A great story

Bring the tissues. Hailee and Margaret trade chapters to tell the story from their perspectives.

2.

TIPS for everyone

We hope you never, ever have that day where you are told you have a life altering diagnosis.

If you or someone you know does, this will help you to navigate those days to come.

3.

Join the Journey

One day someone is going to need you to step up. This is more than a book…this is a journey.
